Printer Cables

Welcome to the Printer Cables page, it is a very annoying thing about printers that they often do not come with a cable so that you can connect it to your computer. Maybe they assume that you will already have a cable and this is often the case but if you do not then you will need to buy a cable or you will not be able to use your new printer.

Most new printers use USB cables as they are faster and easier to use, most computers have several USB ports so you should have no problems connecting the USB cable. Old printers used to use the parallel port but there is only one and it is slower so they are not as good as USB and as USB is standard you can be sure that a USB cable will work with your new printer as long as it has a USB port.
